Gears App models taken advantage of being fully web-based, allowing for product lifecycle management features to be embedded. This allows users to create a model release or version that takes a snapshot of the model at that instance in time. Released models are automatically locked for editing, but can be unlocked.
In addition to versioning capabilities, a Copy command is available to help user workflows.
